Finding the hydro area means finding the right room in the house that is going to be dedicated to growing the marijuana hydroponic crop. This is important, because it should not be a room where there is going to be people walking through, it should not be a room where company can see what is going on, after all this is an illegal crop.
Then there are other things to be considered, like the amount of windows, the temperature of the room and for these reasons the best room in the house is often the basement. Not all houses have basements, but those that do is often the best choice.
The attic is usually the worst choice, it is usually much hotter in the attic than anywhere else in the house and then there is the water source that usually is not in the attic, which means problems setting up the marijuana hydro crop.
