The planting distance for the marijuana hydro crop is important if the plants are going to grow to their full potential. Even though soil is not being used the plants will need to be planted with space in between and the distance is a little different than the indoor soil crop.
The first thing that needs to be looked at is the strain of marijuana that is going to be planted; the short bushy plant will need a different amount of space than the tall narrow marijuana plant. The marijuana root system will need to be placed more than three inches apart for it to grow to maturity without needing to be moved.
When the marijuana is grown properly with the right amount of space, the right amount of light, the right growing medium and the right nutrient solution it is possible to get between a half ounce and one ounce per plant.
